During a season marked by conflict and heavy uncertainty in Lebanon, LIVF student Sila Haddad created an original painting as a visual reflection on the theme “Radiant” for IFES Global Giving Day. Her artwork illustrates how the schemes of darkness and evil are met and completely overcome by the radiant, unstoppable light of Christ’s Resurrection.
Sila’s painting served as a powerful source of encouragement for the entire LIVF community during a difficult period when in-person meetings were restricted and universities shifted online. Her visual testimony reminded fellow students and staff alike that even in the darkest circumstances, Christ’s peace and hope remain secure and shine brightly through the student movement in Lebanon.
